The Telekom Smart Speaker will officially be available at IFA 2019. The audio system technology and parts of the speech recognition system come from the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology in Oldenburg.
With microphones and audio technology from the Fraunhofer IDMT in Oldenburg: The Telekom Smart Speaker starts selling at IFA 2019
To develop the Smart Speaker, Fraunhofer IDMT’s Hearing, Speech and Audio Technology division cooperated with Deutsche Telekom in a dependable partnership. From the brainstorming and initial demonstrators to the acoustic self-test of the device for end-of-line control, the Oldenburg division contributed its expertise and innovative technologies.
