Promoting young talent

We offer all STEM-interested children and young people the opportunity to get a taste of research with us. We have been organizing our Fraunhofer Talent School Ilmenau with heart and soul for more than ten years. Two years ago, we founded the Open Roberta Coding Hub Ilmenau together with the TU Ilmenau and research partners to get children and young people excited about programming. We regularly organize a Girls'Day especially for girls interested in science. In the context of school internships, pupils get a taste of research work and students find exciting topics and the necessary support for their theses and dissertations at our institute.
