As part of the MusicBricks project, Fraunhofer IDMT provides several technologies for music analysis. In particular, a commandline tool for extracting the main (predominant) melody, the bass line, the chord progression, the key, and the beat grid from audio files is provided. Second, a library for real-time monophonic and polyphonic pitch detection is included, which can deal with various types of musical instruments and sung vocals. Furthermore, we make our time stretching and pitching shifting library available which allows pitch shifting of audio samples in real time without changing the tempo and vice versa.
