IAVAS – Interactive Audio-visual Application Systems

In the »IAVAS« project, object based multimedia applications based on the object and scene concept of MPEG-4 have been developed. It focussed on two- and three-dimensional scenarios with natural and synthetic auditive and visual elements. Working with the IAVAS project started in 2001 in the Media Technology Institute at the Ilmenau University of Technology and further developed with Fraunhofer IDMT.
